LXE and ScanSource Sign Distribution Partnership in Europe
Wireless logistrics vendor LXE and POS specialistScanSource Europe have signed a distribution partnership that will significantly extend the availability of LXE’s products in the high-growth distribution channel. ScanSource will distribute the entire LXE product line of rugged mobile computers throughout Scansource offices in Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom). Resellers will benefit from access to LXE’s range of rugged devices that thrive in the cold chain, intermodal and other demanding logistics environments.

Germany : network and telcom vendor Datus has signed a distribution partnership with networking specialist Allnet for its IP-PBX indali.
Symantec drops Infinigate

Secu4 had invented a small security device aimed at protecting notebooks from theft. Bluwatchdog – it is its name – is a Bluetooth card with a battery and an alarm, which is to be paired with any mobile phone. As soon as the Bluwatchdog gets out of reach of the paired mobile phone (up to 30m), its alarm starts shouting to 100 dB, thus deterring the robber. We predict Bluwatchdog and Secu4 a pretty good success, as soon as more distribution partnerships are signed…
