Exclusive Networks to push on services
In order to drive its future growth, French network and security VAD Exclusive Networks is investing in a new infrastructure and new services to optimize and automatize the order processing and technical support on the European scale, starting with Scandinavia. The distributor also plans to launch in the coming months its own offer of managed services, in order to help its resellers generate recurring business. This offer may very well look like the Alvea offer of its competitor Computerlinks. Currently, Exclusive Networks is present, beside France, in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Avnet distributes Brocade
Already working together in the Netherlands, Avnet Technology Solutions has expanded its partnership with Brocade over its complete IP networking offer to Belgium and Luxembourg.

Switzerland : for undisclosed reasons, Logitech had stopped its distribution partnership with broadliner Also. The current other distributors of the Swiss accessory vendor are now Elconex, Ingram Micro, Littlebit and Tech Data.

Gem streams television with Roku
United Kingdom : just a few weeks after its arrival on the British market, American TV streaming player vendor Roku has appointed retail specialist Gem as its distributor in the country.
Prianto expandes its partnership with Quest
German software VAD Prianto has expanded its partnership with Quest, to distribute its full portfolio. Both companies started to work together in 2009, with an exclusivity deal on Toad for DB2. The expanded partnership encompass the full DACH region, that is Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
More Acer for Focelda
Italy : after some timing distributing its mobile phones, broadliner Focelda has extended its partnership with Taiwanese vendor Acer to its notebooks, netbooks, tablets, PCs, servers, monitors and video-projectors.
DICOM and InoTec commence international distribution partnership
EDM VAD DICOM has started to market the complete range of InoTec production scanners in the EMEA region. Apart from hardware, DICOM also provides a broad spectrum of service offerings. Resellers can rely on a technical support based on technician training provided by InoTec. The first joint presentation has been done on French trade exhibition for document and information management « Documation », which was held in Paris on March 21st and 22nd. At the centre of the presentation was be the new SCAMAX 4×3 series of document scanners. InoTec products and services are available through DICOM offices in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dubai, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the newly created office in South Africa.

Avnet Memec has unveiled a new pan-European distribution agreement with Adeunis RF, a French specialist in design, manufacture and marketing of wireless transmission systems. The agreement enables the specialised semiconductor distributor to offer modules for Near Field Communications – an important new set of technologies for the rapidly growing RFID and contactless payment markets. It further expands Avnet Memec’s offering for unlicensed Industrial, Scientific and Medical band designs in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Italy : network and storage VAD Zycko has expanded its portfolio with the IP networking solutions from Brocade.
Iomega signs Delta Distribution as an in-country B2B distributor
Egypt : storage vendor Iomega has signed broadliner Delta Distribution (formerly known as Mantrac IT) as a B2B distributor in the country. Delta Distribution will more particularly focus on the SMB market, through its network of system integrators, surveillance installers, resellers and VARs.

Germany : CA has expanded its partnership with broadliner Ingram Micro to include its hybrid data protection solution CA ARCserve D2D On Demand in its offer.
iLuv chooses Sopeg
Mobile accessory brand iLuv has appointed French consumer electronic vendor and distributor Sopeg as its official distributor in Austria, France and Germany. iLuv has built up a collection of accessories for Apple and Samsung tablets and mobile phones : docking stations, speakers, Hi-Fi systems, headsets, power supplies, cabling, connectivity and a large offer of cases. iLuv is among the few to have been awarded Made for Samsung and the only one in the world to develop docking stations for Galaxy tablets.
Wortmann to expand in Leipzig
Cebit : German broadliner and PC vendor Wortmann has unveiled plans to expand its offices in Hüllhorst with 30000 additional square meters within the next 3 to 4 years. The company is also thinking about opening a new, 2000sqm PC and notebook building site in Leipzig. The company is also achieving the new office of its French subsidiary, in Vendenheim, near Strasbourg. This new, 800sqm, low-energy building will welcome the 20-people-strong team in April.
