India : cabling vendor R&M has expanded its coverage of the country through the appointments of two new regional distributors for the markets of Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat where it hopes to reach more efficiently out to the tier 2 and tier 3 local cities. R&M has chosen Gateway Networking Solutions (GNS) as the regional distributor for entire Kerala region and Ultima Infotech as regional distributor for Maharashtra and Gujarat.

The company should continue to work independantly, while its vendor-independant MPS offer will be distributed through resellers through the broadliner : a potential channel conflict which has not been yet delt by the new owner.
