The new Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) has undergone extensive development over the last six months. It is now based on a dedicated local data centre, purpose-built for the cloud and to host Alvea Services’ cloud and managed services. A key feature of the service is its secure data seeding capability, either via encrypted hard disk or high-speed Internet transfer that allows end-users to move their data to the cloud quickly and securely. To boost end-user interest and confidence in investing in a cloud-based infrastructure, resellers are being invited to « try before you buy » and test out the flexibility of the new service by offering their customers free trials in the coming weeks.

Platinum, Gold and Silver service levels have been designed to match resellers’ diverse needs and levels of expertise. In addition to demand generation campaigns across all program levels, Alvea will provide extensive marketing campaign support including sharing the cost of trade shows and events for its Platinum partners. Additional margins will also be offered to Platinum partners who make a commitment to marketing the service.
