News from Cloud Distribution, e92plus, Midwich, Nimans, Northamber and Redeem

United Kingdom: application security vendor A10 Networks has announced that network, security and storage VAD Cloud Distribution has been approved to deliver training on behalf of A10 Networks across EMEA. Over the past few months, Cloud Distribution's trainers and qualified instructors have been through extensive preparation and guidance with A10's US technical team to ensure that they are certified and qualified to deliver A10 training to partners and end users. This is the first ATP Centre in Europe and Cloud Distribution will become the first certified partner, enabling both resellers and end users to upskill and increase the level of recognised expertise within their organisations, while increasing their capability for pre and post-sales support. Rapid channel growth has led to the increased demand for training that A10 is now experiencing, having launched its new Affinity Partner Programme last year. Demand has grown to the extent that A10 now requires a dedicated training centre in EMEA and Cloud Distribution was perfectly positioned to deliver this. Cloud Distribution will provide training primarily around A10's ADC (Application Delivery Controller) and TPS (Threat Protection System) products. This will enable resellers' technical staff to be certified trainers and users, which in turn means that they will be able to provide enhanced implementation and support services to their customers. Likewise, if end users don't have certified engineers, they can sign up for training courses as well. There will be scheduled classroom training courses at Cloud's ATP Centre in Reading, and where required, bespoke onsite training can also be delivered.

IT infrastructure audit editor Netwrix has signed a distribution agreement with security VAD e92plus, its first local 2-tier partnership. Under the agreement, e92plus will leverage its considerable knowledge and influence among resellers in the mid-market to enterprise space to recruit and train sales partners for the flagship Netwrix Auditor platform. "Having spent the past couple of years preparing the ground by onboarding some large resellers, blue chip customers and building up our internal resources we have today selected a top distribution partner to help us accelerate the growth of Netwrix in the UK", said Peter Smith, Netwrix's regional director of sales, Europe. "In our view e92plus has the right enablement strategy, technical resource and complementary skills to help us recruit the right resellers and rapidly scale up the number of prospective customers that are introduced to the Netwrix Auditor platform."

"Rapid take-up of cloud applications such as Office 365 and ever more distributed and complex networks in recent years has led to more and more organisations demanding tools that give them greater control over data within ever more complex hybrid networks", said Neil Langridge, marketing director for e92plus. "Netwrix is one of a select few complementary new technologies that we are taking on to help companies have better control, security and visibility of changes, data and user behaviour within today's complex mix of cloud and on-premise infrastructures. There is also an increasing demand for greater analytics and network visibility and Netwrix will provide our VARs with excellent opportunities to profitably build out their services and provide the essential insights their customers need."

e92plus fires up the channel with HEAT Software

HEAT Software, a provider of Service Management and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) software solutions, has extended its agreement with security VAD e92plus, to cover its entire Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) product range. The extended agreement will open up new opportunities for local channel partners to help enterprise customers address business management and corporate security challenges.

HEAT Software was formed in February 2015 when FrontRange, a leader in integrated Service Management and Endpoint Management solutions, combined with Lumension, a provider of Endpoint Security solutions. e92plus has been a long standing distribution partner for Lumension in Ireland and the United Kingdom, having worked with Lumension (formerly Patchlink and SecureWave) since 2005. HEAT Software's solutions enable IT, HR, facilities, customer service and other enterprise functions to simplify and automate their business processes to improve service quality, while managing and securing endpoints to proactively detect and protect against threats to business continuity.

Mukesh Gupta, Managing Director at e92plus, explained that "e92plus is delighted to extend its exclusive agreement with HEAT Software and we’re very excited about the new UEM platform. We've established an excellent relationship with Lumension, and helped drive strong growth over the past three years. HEAT Software brings world class physical, virtual and mobile endpoint management to the channel, and excellent opportunities for our partners to extend their IT service management offering."

The HEAT Software UEM portfolio helps address key challenges for organisations, including:

  • OS migrations, including the expected move towards Windows 10 from XP, Vista and Windows 7
  • Application upgrades, including Office 365
  • Virtual desktop initiatives
  • Management, control and support for mobile OS and devices
  • Reduction in manual software asset management, compliance reporting, patch management and providing high availability and resilience to business critical applications

Mukesh continues, "Sprawling, complex networks can significantly increase the cost and complexity of IT support for many organisations. HEAT Software's UEM solution provides significant opportunities for resellers to reduce customer total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive efficiencies – from complementing Microsoft SCCM and SCOM for Microsoft Partners, to offering a cloud management platform for MSPs."

Matthew Walker, VP Northern Europe at HEAT Software, explained, "We're seeing heightened demand from customers who want to begin applying more of the technology solutions they've been using to manage their IT processes in other aspects of their business. With HEAT, any department within a business can now benefit from the ability to simplify, automate and streamline routine activities – while at the same time remaining secure – generating huge organic sales potential for the channel, which will be underpinned by the important partnership with e92plus."
